Paige Richardson is a life long political activist and campaigner. She made Oregon her adopted home in the 90’s looking for a place to be free and queer. A veteran campaign strategist with more than 30 years of experience, she has led campaigns across the country. Here in Oregon she helped pass the Outdoor School for All measure and the Portland Clean Energy Fund. She has been an ECR advisor since its founding in 2018.
Stacey Reding has been a Portland public defender since 2008, and is currently the Executive Director of Multnomah Defenders Inc., a nonprofit public defender office. She has served on the East County Rising board since January 2025.
Rev. Dr. Joseph Santos-Lyons is a Unitarian Universalist minister and Chief of Staff for State Senator Khanh Pham. He is a past Executive of the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods, OPAL Environmental Justice Oregon, and founding Director of APANO Communities United Fund & APANO Action Fund.
Ricki Ruiz is the State Representative for House District 50, representing Gresham and East Portland. Raised in Gresham by immigrant parents, he previously served on the Reynolds School Board and co-founded the Rockwood Initiative, a youth-led effort that developed community futsal courts.
